These prints came a set from Hashimoto Contemporary. Both of them, by happenstance, have a cheeky connection to my wife and our relationship. In college Jill briefly took classes in Arabic, and as any former 101 foreign language learner knows, you end up picking up a few completely random sentences based on whatever the teacher happened to be using as their iterated example. For Jill, it was the phrase “I love you more than the sun and the moon and the stars.”
As for, “Love is Rare”, that tickled me because we’ve been together since college. Also, I love steak, and by extension a good steak-themed joke.
